SAFETY

Mountain Biking is an assumed risk sport , therefore you will assume responsibility for your own safety, consider the safety of others and ride within your own skills and abilities at all times.

TICKETS 

• Rider Tickets can only be purchased by, or on behalf of, women over the age of 16yrs at the time of the event. Each ticket entitles the holder to all free activities and two nights camping at the event site (camping equipment will not provided by the event organisers).

• Youth Rider Tickets can only be purchased on, or behalf of, girls 9yrs to 15yrs at the time of the event. Each ticket entitles the holder to all free activities and two nights camping at the event site (camping equipment will not provided by the event organisers). Participation for the Airbag requires parent/guardian present at the Airbag.

• Village Pass can be purchased by, or on behalf of, any person over the age of 8-yrs at the time of the event. Each ticket entitles the holder to entry to the event site and two nights camping at the event site (camping equipment will not be provided by the event organisers).

• Child Village Pass can be purchased on behalf of any person 8-yrs and under at the time of the event. Each ticket entitles the holder to entry to the event and two nights camping at the event site (camping equipment will not be provided by the event organisers).

MINORS

All riders under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times throughout the event. The event organisers will not take any responsibility for the safety and/or wellbeing of any person/s under the age of 18yrs.

DOGS

We welcome doggos! The Sisters of Send Weekend welcomes trail-friendly dogs who are well-behaved. Please ensure you clean up any mess your doggo makes, and keep them by your side or on a leash. The event organisers will not take any responsibility for the health and/or wellbeing of your dog whilst at the event. Nor will the event organisers take responsibility for any loss, damage, theft or injury your dog may cause or experience.

BOOKING

When you make a booking, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept, and do accept, on behalf of all of your party the terms of our booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as you purchase your ticket/s. One person may accept the booking conditions on behalf of a group. The contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

CANCELLATION BY YOU

Refunds will not be given.

If are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket type to another individual by Fri 28th April 2023 by emailing your details and the details of your transferee to sistersofsend@gmail.com.

CANCELLATION BY US

We will always endeavour to avoid cancellation. However, in the event of events beyond our control which forces our hand to cancel the event, a notification will be distributed and a refund offered. We will not be held liable for any other expenses incurred to the purchaser as a result of such cancellation.

*With regards to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the Sisters of Send Weekend will continue as scheduled as long as Welsh Government laws and guidelines allow. However, in the event of cancellation we will be unable to issue ticket refunds.

INSURANCE

Participants are advised to take out adequate insurance cover. Any such policy should cover activity participation, personal items (incl bikes and equipement), medical expenses, cancellation due to COVID-19 and the cost of repatriation in the event of illness and cancellation by you.

LIMIT OF OUR LIABILITY

Our liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the total cost of your ticket/s only. We accept no responsibility for any damage or loss to you or your personal possessions. We are not liable for any failure to carry out the contract if the failure is:

a: due to the actions of a participant

b: due to the actions of a third party unconnected with us

c. due to circumstances beyond our control and unforeseeable

d. due theft or damage to bicycles or injury to you which occurs as a result of participation in the event, or traveling to or from the event venue.

SUITABLE BIKES & EQUIPMENT

We make the following assumptions:

a. You will use a suitable and well-maintained bike

b. You will use suitable riding and safety equipment

c. Full face helmet is mandatory for 4X participation

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

All types of sport involve elements of risk and discomfort, your booking represents acceptance of this. It is imperative that you RIDE WITHIN YOUR CAPABILITIES at all times. If you are unsure of your capabilities, you must walk when you are not confident riding. It is a condition of participation that you always wear an approved safety helmet. This includes a mandatory full face helmet for 4X participation. We take no responsibility for damage, death or injury caused to you or by you as a result of participation. You are responsible for keeping your bike in good working order. We reserve the right to prevent you from participating if your bike is not in good working order. If you participate in a coaching session you agree to abide by the authority of the leader of the group. If any staff member deems your behaviour to be detrimental to the welfare of others or yourself, you will be removed from the session/event. We reserve the right to remove any person from the Sisters of Send Weekend event site who is deemed to be acting in a manner that we deem to be antisocial or dangerous in any way. We will not be liable for any refund in these circumstances. You commit to attending all required meeting points in good time. If you are late or fail to turn up at a given meeting point you will forfeit your participation in the session. You have a contractual responsibility to act in a reasonable way for the duration of the event. Any behaviour by you which is, in the reasonable opinion of the event organisers, disruptive or likely to adversely affect the enjoyment of other persons, will be a breach of the contract and our obligation to provide any contracted services to you will end.

MEDICAL

On booking your ticket/s, you accept that you have read and understood these terms and conditions. You must confirm that you are fit to participate, and inform us of any medical conditions both current and historic affecting your participation in any additional session within the event.
